Pastore is a purveyor of authentic, Italian street food created with the best of British ingredients with an emphasis on simplicity, minimal waste and above all delicious fresh pasta. Served from a beautiful, custom designed and built Shepherd's Hut.
Inspired by family trips to Sicily, Naples and Florence, Oliver developed a love for food and cookery. After training in Michelin star restaurants in London he refined his pasta skills at the popular Tipo 00 restaurant in Melbourne.
From a young age Jake aspired to run kitchens at the highest level. Leaving Lancashire for London, he joined the restaurant Tom Aikens in Chelsea.
Along their journeys Jake and Oliver’s paths crossed at restaurant Marcus in Knightsbridge. Working together as Head Chef and Sous Chef, they developed a dynamic and intuitive management style and maintained 2 Michelin stars and 5 aa rosettes.
